Robyn, I watched your videos last night. They were cool, but that's not a snowstorm. To me, a snowstorm is when you can't see where you are going and the wind is blowing at 50 mph and the temp is zero. I also looked at how the people were dressed and I could handle snowstorms like that. I didn't realize you weren't an Okie from birth. What state did you live in previously?
That was the *joke* of it all, that is a DUNCAN "Snowstorm" Did you hear them making jokes about the lack of Trucks out salting the roads? When we DO have a bit of snow and ice, they only sand the Highway and the main streets. The rest of us just wait for it to melt or throw on boots and *crunch* to the store. We're lucky if it lasts more than a day.
You saw the "flood" videos? Our Grand-Daughter was born in the middle of that. Had to have a friend with a BIG truck take me to the hospital, because the creeks had washed over the bridges between here and there. The Hospital is on the other side of the Highway from us.
We knew it was coming though and had it all planned.
I was born in CA http://bestsmileys.com/crying/2.gif (broken link) But don't blame me (or my Dad) it was my Mother's fault. I SHOULD have spent my life here!!

Oh, that is cool!! I wasn't sure if you guys knew that it wasn't really a snowstorm cause some people have never been through a "real" one. You are so fortunate to have such decent winters.
From Cali???? We've never been there, but that was the dream place at one time. Back in the 60s and early 70s, we ALL wanted to live in southern California. Unfortunately, it'd be unaffordable for us. 1500 a month for rent is WAY beyond our budget.
It's only 74 degrees now and it's nearly 2 pm. Kind of a cool spell today.
