It's 69*f here and cloudy for the 5th day running. We have had around 10 hours of sun in the last week.
Comments from meteogroup (whoever they are) :
August is on course to be the dullest since sunshine records began in 1929. The most dismal was in 1942, with just 111.4 hours of sunshine averaged out across the UK. But up to last Tuesday – August 26 – the UK had enjoyed just 96.3 hours, and most of the country has been cloudy since.
MeteoGroup forecaster Michael Dukes said: “There has been a real lack of sunshine this year. We have only seen around 90 hours of sunshine. The average for this time of year is 200.”
It's a beautiful 90 degrees~heading for a predicted 91 for the day. Just turned the AC on. Our humidity is only 36% and our dewpoint is 60% so it doesn't feel hot. Winds are 21 to 27 mph. Today our average drops down to 81 so we're going through a warm spell right now.
