in a perfect world, GA will always be cold by September
hey do you know where Pickle Lake, ON is?? How cold does it get there in winter?
If GA was cold in September, you're growing season would be less than 3 months long.
Though I suppose it wouldn't bother you if nearly all your produce had to be brought in, since you like cold so much.
Yes I know where Pickle Lake is.
Best answer: TOO COLD!
Pickle Lake is a few hundred northwest of Thunder Bay;
a place that already has a bleak, very-severe winter.
It averages -11, -14 and -13 C for highs, which is like 7 to 13 F for the high. Record low is somewhere around -60 F.
It's actually colder than Ft. McMurray, even though Pickle Lake is father south.
Average annual high is 5.3 C and average low is -6 C which means there's permafrost.
