It's only the 19th... I'm confused.
If Toronto had zero rainfall for June, it would still be a good month.
(there's like a 1-2% chance that June could be that dry here)
We don't need any. It's often too cool and sometimes cloudy for it to evaporate very quickly.
Although I know the heat makes evaporation go up, you have high relative humidity which should help water stick around.
One thing I do know is that in Ontario, 19 days without rain is never a problem except for the fussiest of gardeners.

Hey CC when it doesn't rain in Houston everything turns real brown and dies. And heat is even more worse if that's possible. People have to water their lawns a lot.
