Well some people don't like a real winter,
and it's good that everywhere doesn't get it.
Too bad it's so challenging for many to be able to live in the climate of one's choice though.
Myself, I have no interest in any crisp "northern" cold or snow,
but a momentary pause between growing seasons might be nice,
rather than summer year-round. (could be boring, eventually)

We call that cold November or mild winter weather here...
Although that kind of weather is about the same as I described...
Except that about half the time it's too cold to wash your car,
rather than most of the time.

Well, no one would like it right now though. It's 81* but feels like 86* because it is 80% humidity and extremely foggy. This is a first for me. I have never been in 80's and a heavy fog advisory.
I actually thought we were moving to SoCal about 20 years ago.
So when I learned people didn't have to live in the cold, I swore off of winter...
I'm still here, winter didn't go away, so I've been swearing at it ever since.

I like that kind of weather!
I'm almost immune to high humidity. so that would feel nice to me anyways.
I practically have gills when it comes to breathing heavy, damp air.
I feel very little difference when it's dry or muggy
but night night-and-day difference when it's cold or warm.

Hey, at least you had fun. And now you have some memories to cherish as well.

Its currently 65 degrees at 9:15 pm, got up to 77 today. Tomorrow is 75 and sunny, perrrrrrfect. Theyre forcasting 85 by Thursday, with a bout of higher humidity creeping in.

Glad you made it back and that you had a very nice time. Chicago is awesome, but is WAY too crowded for me. Actually, it's the traffic that I don't like there, but it is a very beautiful place.

thanks. Chicago is very nice, it's not too crowded compared to NYC, which is good, like how there is lots of greenery and the suburbs have good transportation(that train that goes from Aurora to Chicago).

Usual crappy Melbourne weather, 15ºC and overcast all day. Now its raining there has literally been about 5 sunny days since April. Everyday its cloudy, everything is wet, damp and the ground is continually muddy. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING
