Woah. That doesn't even seem real now, it's been so dry lately.. Have to go back almost 3 weeks to find consecutive hourly OBS at 70F. 62º currently.

Ah, I see. Still frustrating to see you get it when this is probably the last chance of the year.

Check this out... One way to measure how moist the atmosphere is, is to look at the PWAT values...
Dew points in the mid 60s in September in northern Maine. Nuts.

Apparently the PWAT is a record..

Here's the link to the charts.

Click the location on the map you want. (Those are the only NWS Offices that send up Balloons)

Scroll down and check off "plot latest" which is from the actual Balloon launches, not models.

Then you can display which parameter you want..it's set to PWAT as default. You can click that, scroll up to 850mb temps. Which also is near record for this time of year. Unbelievable pattern in New England. Hot and Muggy.

While you have more for the year check this out... Since Mid August Bridgeport hit 70°+ 15 times while you hit it only 4!

Lexington Max was 77° twice. July 29 & July 13.
Bridgeport Max was 75° three times. July 30, Aug 19 & 21.
