The dew point has reached 79F three separate days this summer, but hasn't reached 80F.

That is very intense.

Though not a huge difference:

Backyard: Dew Point is 70 F (21 C) here.

For Bridgeport: 9 out of last 10 days 70+. 75 was the max twice within those days and for the year.

WTF

midday August 25th. Jackson Mississippi is 24 below normal with the dewpoint right now.

Canadian High Pressure went straight down instead of curled into the Northeast or Mid Atlantic. Negative NAO an absolute killer for me. Its blocking and slowing things down which I believe prevented this High from coming to the Northeast instead of the South

I guess that setup in winter could mean arctic cold in Kentucky and rain in CT.

Dewpoint is 49F in August.

Exactly.

January 6, 2014. I was in the 50s with rain. You were in the single digits. Dewpoints were 50F here teens there.

Any homes for sale there? This winter might frustrate me.

Only difference is, in the winter the Polar Jet is stronger so it has a better push off the coast plus the waters cool off but Now it's like waiting forever!

Dew point Still 70F here.
