Which of these 2 continental climates do you choose?

I choose Oslo for less snow. Sapporo is overkill when it comes to snowfall!!!

I pick Oslo, for better summers. Winters appear to be unreliable in terms of snowfall, but good enough. Also, someone has messed up the averages for Oslo on that Wiki table.

Sapporo - more sunshine in winter and the ridiculous amount of snow it gets is amazing. I sometimes wished it snowed that much here so I could make tunnels in snow - that's a dream that will never happen but it's reality every year in Sapporo. Oslo's winters are dark and the snowfall sucks.

I hate snow in the city center, so Oslo it is. Nordmarka gets more than enough snow for skiing.

Oslo for me. All that snow in Sapporo, would be a bit depressing.

Quite by coincidence, I have a can of Sapporo beer, sitting in the fridge. I might have it this afternoon.

Sapporo. Oslo as a city though.

Sapporo. Sunshine is pretty much neck-and-neck but more evenly distributed in Sapporo, plus it looks like they'd get a lot of those sunny snowy days I like in early spring. I believe they also get a decent number of winter thunderstorms. The summers are lovely and warm, despite being quite cloudy. I can imagine sleeping out on the veranda with only a thin blanket in August.

I'd pick Sapporo for being much lower latitude. This was a hard one, Sapporo's climate resembles that of Grand Rapids, Michigan or Marquette, Michigan.
