13°C/55°F and clear here.

Cool sunny days vs warm cloudy spells are rather unusual this early in autumn. It's more of a winter pattern.
weather Paris 8 days: Rain risk - Wind - UV index - Sunshine hours

This is as impressive as a thunderstorm. It's loud and windy. Background roar outside.

Looks like there are scattered powers around NJ, including JCP&L customers in my town. I'm in northeastern NJ presently and there's none here that I'm aware of.

Yes..the "roar" was great today. What a dynamic system. Low level jet was screaming at 80mph and that was pushing down to the surface. My max gust was 35 but constant gusts to 30 all day. Then all hell broke loose as that squall line strengthened over me. Almost 2 inches of rain in an hour. Sideways and pouring hard. I95 got flooded and cars were under water.

Been a while for a storm like this.

NWS said they couldn't keep up with the reports from MA and CT alone.

Snow event this weekend for Upper MidWest. GFS has been hinting this for over 7 days now and it looks like its very possible.

Look how far the 540 thickness line drops.

MidWest/Ohio Valley will feel winter before NorthEast this year. Chicago could get their normal snowfall in first half of winter.
