I've noticed the temperatures in Western Massachusetts tracks where ilovemycomputer90 lives very well. Philly seems rather different from me as I gathered from your posts
I chalk it up to elevation difference and water bodies nearby. The Pocono area of PA is usually 5 to 10 degrees cooler (and cloudier as friends from Scranton tell me)than here on the coastal plain. I think Delaware Bay moderates our temps a bit in the cooler season. The water is still pretty warm. We had a high of 70F today, and a low this morn of 53F. That is out at the airport. I'm sure it was warmer in the urban center.

We had a low of 51°F (very mild for this time of year) and a high 65°F. Mostly cloudy with a some breaks of sun; and a few rain drops!
Whoops. It was 46°F. Misread NOAA's page. Though my local weather station often seem to read temperatures colder than my city, so it might have been a few degrees warmer.

I mis-read it also. Might have been an error on the page though. I think the actual low was 47 F here.
Beautiful autumn day today, as many days recently. Mostly sunny skies, little wind, low of 3.3C and high so far around 11.3C. The warm start to the month stopped the leaf change but this spell should get the colours out well. It's been very dry too, just 8.8mm (1/3 of an inch) of rain so far this month, a fraction of what we should expect.

In comparison, Buxton's total rainfall so far this October - 117.6mm.

What's your YTD rain? At 417mm (though I do suspect the unofficial site of underreading a little) we're struggling to get out of semi-arid territory for the year. Feels odd.
