We finally got snow. It hasn't started sticking yet and I'm not sure if it will. Hopefully it's enough to cancel school tomorrow, though I doubt it. If it doesn't stick, I'm with the people who are currently running the school, the most that'll happen is that it gets delayed 2 hours.

Update: Folks in the area can expect snow falling for the next 9-12 hours!

Messy day tomorrow. Expecting a mix of sleet, snow, and freezing rain. A few inches of sleet and snow with a very light glaze of ice. Maybe I'll get off of work tomorrow.

e were suposed to get a little snow and sleet but only got light rain. Of course that caused ice on over passes. But tomorrow and next few days sunshine and return to about 50-60 degrees highs. Snow never last more than a day here really anyway. Normally it snows here as a system is startig to leave and temperatures get just above or right at freezing with mositure for the gulf returning. By 12 noon its melted the next day. Hate this cold weather with no sunshine last few days.

Snow's melting, and the temperatures rose above freezing today after over 80 consecutive hours of it being under 32. However, there still is a 20% chance of snow in this area next Tuesday and 30% chance on Wednesday.

A lot of the snow is actually melting day by day. The other day was my first time seeing the ground since Christmas (here in NY that is).

Today is wintry mix though, it should add a little something.

Spring looks to knock Winter out the spot next week, let's see how long it lasts. I'm just excited for the plethora of 40's & 50's. Even if Winter returns it won't be for long since it'd be practically March.

Here in Massachusetts, we've had a horribly cold, snowy winter. In most locations, we've had record snowfall, since December. Snow has been piling-up into huge mountains, in parking lots here. There have been dozens of roofs all over Mass, that have collapsed under the weight of heavy ice and snow. Millions of school kids and college students, have had more snow days off this winter, than ever before.

The little groundhog didn't see it's shadow, on Groundhog Day. That's supposed to mean that an early spring, is in the offing. I doubt it myself. On the other hand, the weather forecasters here, have said that we're supposed to warm-up into the 50s, by early next week. So we may be getting closer to spring, after all!
