We had some intense rain most of the day and then a nice break and big rainbow before dark.

3.73 inches of rain in the past 48 hours for the Seattle area. Lots of standing water. We didn't get a sun break or see anything resembling the sun north of Seattle today.

Well the Sequim rain shadow seems to have move on...10.34 inches of rain so far this year where the normal is 3.57. In comparison Forks, PA and PT are all under normal rain fall this time of year.
Strange rain patterns for the Olympic Peninsula and more rain predicted.

Nice here now… Our floodplain sure did fill up quickly again down below, but it is draining and drying out now.

Looks like you guys got a nice sun break. We didn't see any here in Vancouver. We've got one more solid day of rain in the forecast followed by clearing for the remainder of the week and beyond.

Spring is definitely on the way! I'm looking forward to the cherry blossoms just around the corner.

Do you guys have any flowering trees on the farm?

Derek

Yes… we have seven apple trees.

I’ll take their picture when they bloom.

We have some rain today which is light mostly. To my surprise, we're seeing the first signs of spring in our garden. Our first daffodils are blooming today along with another flower I can't recall the name off. They seem to be responding the rain and warming temps nicely. Bring on springtime blooms! I'm ready.
