Beautiful sunset, Andy! Is that from your house?

It is Derek, and we are still pinching ourselves.
The wife and I are blessed to be here.
Some days are better than others and this was a nicer winter day.

Chilly, gray, rainy, no sunbreaks. Fog bank in the distance. Typical January weather.

We had a nice mix and sun and cloud today in Vancouver. You gotta enjoy them when they come. It was the first time I felt warm in our backyard this winter with the sun shinning down. The sun and intermingled clouds made for a beautiful evening sunset paddle on the Columbia. It was nice to see Mt. Hood peaking out as well. I haven't seen her in a while. I love these windless winter days on the Columbia. Lots of people were out walking along the shore enjoy the mild weather.

We're in a fog bank and very gray. The air quality is locally bad with all the woodburning stoves and the fog hanging around in stagnant air. Anything people burn stays close to the ground.

Another gray day, thick clouds, it rained overnight, fog along the river valleys. Those who find moody gray, darkish days romantic would love this. Just wear a winter coat.

It's still raining in Vancouver with similar weather otherwise. I do at times like the moody, foggy days in the forests and along rivers and lakes. So, I'll likely get out there regardless after work.

Yeah, it's good to get out. I get out and walk a few miles every day unless it's windy and branches might come down. It's kind of moody and cool in the woods but dreary. As a novelty it might be interesting, but we get too many days of it.
