It was sunny and beautiful in Vancouver today reaching low 70s.I tried to play hooky at work but alas, I could not. I was still enjoying it though.

Lots of overnight rains have greened everything up again, deep, dark, gloomy gray yesterday, beautiful sunshine today, not quite The. Dead. Of. Winter. Yet.

Some years the gray descends as early as September and it doesn't stop raining, and some years we get a sunny, drier October then November begins the dark gray.

This year the weather can't make up its mind. Heavy rains, dark, then a sunny day, now it's overcast again. It's been nice to get some sun when it happens.

Today was foggy before noon. Then the sun broke out and it got into the 60s.

Today was sunny and warm in Vancouver reaching the upper 60s with very little wind. I headed down to the river after work and Mt. Hood had some nice alpen glow during sunset.

The weather definitely cooled down today reaching 60 at the high and cloudy. It was good weather for hiking in the forest to enjoy some fall colors.

After a day of clouds and cool temps, we got a burst of sun and warmth (60s) in the later afternoon followed by a nice sunset. You've got to seize the day and enjoy these moments when they come.
