We had a few breaks in the rain with some clearing this afternoon. It was actually pleasant outside while out for a walk/run - mid 40s and no wind.

This morning when I left at 5am it was 34F, but there was slush at the bottom of the windshield and windows, apparently some wet snow overnightin Sammamish. Once I got down the hills from the house down in Issaquah it went up to 37, and the roads were just barely wet. Here in Seattle it's 41, and much more wet, lots of puddles, so it must have rained overnight.

It just started sleeting heavily and it’s sticking to the ground and bbq covers.
Wife just told me snow will probably be here in an hour.
Ha ha I was just about to break out the chainsaw.
Oh well.

One of the things I don’t like is icing on the ground.
We have wooden decks around a good portion of our house and they get very slippery.

I have to drive to Port Angeles today and that big “S” turn in the valley on 101 before PA has always looked like an accident just waiting to happen.

No snow but we're completely fogged in a fog bank and can't see even the trees in the distance. It's kind of eerie. I'm sure this will clear out later but it's very dark this morning.

No rain or snow in SW WA yet. I guess it's starting up north first like the typical winter pattern. We started with chilly temps, low clouds and no wind in the AM, followed by sun, clearing and warmer temps - 46 now. It's supposed to be like this the remainder of the day until more rain is expected tomorrow.

Caught a beautiful paddle on Salmon Creek tonight as the sun was setting. I wanted to get out before the next storm. Temps weren't bad until the sun went down. Then it quickly dropped into the 30s.

We have a little bit of snow still coming down in a very tiny fine dusting.

27 degrees but no snow. I think it's supposed to start snowing later today but also warm up into the mid 30s. High winds will also be a problem in our area.
