It is also pretty EZ to HIDE in WA (beware of booby traps while hiking in prime 'hiding' areas.)

Good growing climate for producers, lots of clients too!
Mild enough to 'hide' for a VERY long time (DB Cooper?)

Tax free state, less nanny state. (unless you are a job creator / economy grower... THEN you have a BIG (brother) problem in WA State.) ie... state policies encourage (require) 'beneath the radar' living AND careers.

Sure, because clearly that behavior, along with pot smoking and speaking poorly to women and peers, are key to keeping most of Washington outside of Sea-Bellevue-Tac "affordable." Scummy cars and neighborhood reputation for frequent burglary will definitely keep those rents low in such jewels as Aberdeen, Centralia, and Longview.

There are drug-addicted losers in every state. Drive across Montana...there are huge billboards on the highways that have one word on them..."METH".

Last year I visited my mother's home town, a little farm town in the midwest. OMG, it, & all the places around there were so beat-down & depressing...guess why?

My home town in SoCal is now drug dealer-user heaven.

It's the new USA. God bless America.

Do you have an actual source for this info or is it something you made up to support a pre-determined conclusion?

Naw, only their drug-addicted losers came up here, some on free bus tickets handed out by municipalities, such as San Francisco (which has been doing that for years), with their drug-addicted winners stayng there (squatting in their foreclosed homes in the 'burbs?).

Brought to you by Big Pharma. Lots of local lawsuits cropping up, trying to claw back some of the filthy profits gained by Purdue Pharma and other "corporate" drug dealers. On the national level, in Wash., DC, nothing, nada. Trump and the Republicans want to slash funds for substance-abuse treatment, throwing it on the backs of the states.

Excuse ME, but spouse & I are from California & we don't do drugs, we work, own property & pay our way. No generalizing or stereotyping, please.

Also, big pharma doesn't cook meth...it's cooked right here in the Washington forests!

Did I say everyone from California is a loser? No...

WA's rural areas have more than just a Meth problem. Many got hooked on Oxy's first, then moved on to heroin. Many are using meth and heroin together (a "speedball").

Washington was voted best place to live a couple years ago in "Drug addicted loser" magazine.

Interesting thread. While the number of homeless people in WA is seemingly high (as it is in much of the west coast), it's all relative. The opioid epidemic is a national problem that disproportionately affects certain regions in the US, and states like KY, WV and TN lead the nation in overdoses and addiction rates....
