Any good GYM you are aware of in National Harbor ?
I see there is one called Willpower but i think they are closed/moved or something. Do you think there is a demand for New Gym in the Area?

Sampg1, Willpower Sport & Wellness is the company you are referencing. Their location in Fort Washington (former YMCA building) is open, at least according to their website (cite: https://www.getsomewillpower.com/fort-washington2).
Additionally, they are opening a location at National Harbor (cite: https://www.getsomewillpower.com/nat...or-coming-soon).

If that establishment does not interest you, there is a Planet Fitness less than a mile south along MD-210 from Willpower's Fort Washington location.

To answer your question as to whether or not there is demand for a new gym in the area: no.

Tnx for the info, I was wondering if one of the popular/Big Chain Health clubs will open in NH.

Unless they offer free parking, it won't happen. Every gym that I have been a member of. And I've been to gyms from Laurel to Bethesda, to Silver Spring, all had some form of free or reduced parking.

In addition, almost every residential building and hotel now have gyms on site. Unless you have a multi-gym pass at a particular chain, I don't see many people driving to NH to go to the gym. I'd look for a gym on Oxon Hill Rd. somewhere.

On the other hand, I could see a yoga studio at NH.

I'm a NH resident and would love to see LA Fitness or Gold's Gym. I have to drive at least 20 mins to get to the LA Fitness near Potomac Yard in Alexandria or the one in Springfield.

There is a Planet Fitness off 210 but not a fan of that gym at all.
Besides Planet Fitness, there aren't any other gyms from the WW Bridge all the way to Ritchie Marlboro shopping center

Yes, Parking will be an issue but am sure they will provide one or two hour free validation.

One hour wouldn't be enough for me. I would say have a two-hour max. Depending on how far away you have to park, you could spend 15 minutes just getting to the gym, putting your stuff in a locker and getting to the floor. Forget taking a shower afterward, stretching, etc. lol

Maybe a small gym. I mean think about it, although they are not public, most of the major hotels in the harbor already have a gym there. So you won't be getting tourist to use them, and on top of that the population of the actual harbor itself is pretty small to sustain an LA Fitness or Golds.

I wish we could move the Ferris wheel to the new DC waterfront. The National Harbor is okay, but the Ferris wheel there is kinda of silly.
