It saddens me to see the trees Still without leaves on them..=( Hopefully in a month from now the trees will have leaves on them.. If it warms up as it is supposed too then is it possible there will be a full canopy of green forest for just before Memorial day? Kinda worried still

The trees are budding out, they'll have plenty of leaves fairly soon.

Slowly is how nature goes about bringing out foliage. There can be a run of beautiful weather before the leaves finally unfurl. But there can also be some killing frosts and snows as well. If the leaves were out now they would stand a pretty good chance of being severely damaged. My guess is that the Champlain Valley will have leaves in the next week. The NEK is usually about 10 days behind but it will happen. It always does. I've never seen a Memorial day without the trees being all decked out.
