Notice how every car commercial looks something like this. You're driving down a scenic, winding country road. Or along a gorgeous sunset near the coast. They have to run these pretty commercials 24/7...to keep the fantasy alive in your head.

Wow, you can post random pictures of traffic, congrats. I wasn't aware that every time I drive, especially on a highway or in a city that I'm going to be stuck in traffic! Oh, wait I drive 90 miles a day round trip on one of the busiest highways in the United States (central portion of the NJ Turnpike) during rush hour and hardly go below 55 mph at any time. I must be living in another reality besides yours.
Also, way to equate peak rush hour traffic with ordinary driving conditions.
I still love driving . Though I do appreciate being able to walk/subway to work.
Rush hour traffic is a daily reality for most people. It may not be 24 hours, but most drivers encounter it at least once a day. Personally I don't know of any who are commuting to their jobs on a nice country road, or beside a beach everyday on a road with little or no other traffic on it. Must be nice!

You think car owners only use their cars only to go to work?

That's not the point. Doesn't matter if you're commuting in rush hour, or just driving to Walmart on the weekend. Driving in the real world is rarely as picturesque and romantic as it is usually depicted in the car commercials.
