The images you've shared above is real confession of the real beauty of England.

I had beautiful cool weather in July and hot (shorts) weather in September. I have never seen all this rain that they talk about but I think I go at lucky times. It rained a tiny bit but not like it does here. It would rain for 15 minutes and then stop! Sometimes the rain was like a soft mist, other times it was showers. Never got a week of heavy non stop rain like we get here in the summer--rain that ruins everything.

Yeh, I know it does rain there--I guess I've just been lucky. The year my parents retired they took their dream trip to England--trip of a lifetime. In April. My dad's cousin and his wife took at least a week off from work to show them the sights and it rained every day. Now that was sad. (They still had an amazing time; the photographs were a little dark -lol).

In Scotland maybe, but for the majority of the UK, May, June, July and August are the sunniest.

April has outshone the summer months in recent years but that is only because recent summers have been pretty bad.
