Yay! I'll pass this info on to her.

I have tried this and it has a passing resemblance to the real McCoy;

There are so many ethnic food restaurants with FABULOUS food in the UK - so I guess it surprised me that they couldn't seem to get this particular cuisine right. But overall, I was very pleased with English food. Pleasantly surprised.
Yes I'd agree with that too. I got along just fine too with the food. Good time to maybe put in a plug for Marks & Spencer. I tell you hands down they arguably are better than many American convenience stores when it comes to 'FRESH'. Everytime I got one of those ready made sandwiches they had it was great. I surely did not go hungry in England..M&S sure got alot of our 'dough'...;-)..And I feel bad that we didn't stock up on boxes of Oxo..can't get it near us...Really you have to have it when you're making Shepherd's Pie...

And jezer that's a fine ride you have there. And I get it when it comes to the traffic. One thing I have to say is how the heck did all that military transport make its way down to the south of England before D-Day. I mean those country roads are real real narrow. Made for 14th century traffic I'd say! Personally, I had a hard time driving them. Before i do all that again I will take a course here for 'navigation'...;-)...
