Yes, and to support what you said, evidence, Posados on West Gentry near Loop 323 is apparently successful. Owners said, when it opened, something like, we're taking a chance on or going to try out a location here.

Life is built on taking chances. It's just to much competition on Broadway and the Old Jacksonville corridor.

Yep, Gordman's was the first location in Texas, stated it was a "test" location for Gordman's in Texas. I wondered why "Tyler" in the first place, the only answer I came up with was, "why not" lol

Gordman's, a best I could determine, was a duplication of several other stores, we already have in Tyler.

I bet it's going to be hard to "fill" the huge shell, which will be left in that location.

Oh, was by The Shops at Cumberland Sunday, and noticed they are laying ground work for more "shell" buildings in the middle of the development, even more than what was started a month or two ago?

Don't understand why they would build, they have more money than good sense? lol

Also, still no sign on the property of a 4 story building being built just to the south of Carmike Theaters on South Broadway.

Has anyone heard what this is, looks like it is "likely" another hotel?

But I don't understand why "no sign" stating what it is on the property?

It can't be nothing else but an hotel. When is the last time someone in Tyler built a multi story office building?
