It's not Tyler, but this is great for Longview. Our little brother down the road. They are getting a Gap customer service center in Longview. When it's all said and done, Gap will bring in 1200+ jobs to the city of Longview. We need other things coming to the area besides medical field jobs.

Smith County officials put the new courthouse plans on pause. If and when they decide to bring it back to the table. This is definitely a beautiful design for the courthouse.

Here is part of the cost almost 6.2 MILLION in dollars, tax dollars, Longview has always been pro-growth, go getum' attitude, sometimes with success like now. Tyler, not in the last 30 years, approximately.

Longview has been pro growth but they are not growing like Tyler. According to the latest population numbers, Tyler has Longview beat by at 27,000 people. Longview sure is growing.

A little birdie told me a Costco is coming to North Tyler/Lindale area. I'm not in the know but someone who is in the know. They said we are about to get one. We'll just have to wait and see.

I saw a starbucks sign for the new building in making in natural grocers parking lot. I guess it'll take the place of the one close to jason deli, probably adding a drive thru

Costco just returned my inquiry about a possible Costco in Tyler. The voice mail message said Costco has no active project for the Tyler/Lindale area at this time, we like the area and hope to be there one day.
