After I posted last night I said to DH, can you believe Hell's Kitchen and Survivor are not on again tonight. Okay, dumb Jack a&& here, he said "today is Tuesday" they come on Wednesday. I felt like such an idiot
Thanks all for reminding me what a damn donkey I am Maybe I should try out for the show

I'd bring a bag of oats. Gordon would ask me "what the f$#% are you doing with those?" And I'd have the perfect comeback: "I'm a dawn-key. This is my lunch." Either he'd laugh his head off, or he'd confront me for "taking the p#$%". And I'd say, "No, chef, I do not have to take a p$#^ right now, but thank you! Now may I cook my oats? My signature dish is filet of oat, braised, with a merlot reduction vinaigrette and fresh basil, garnished with acorns."

We can safely say he would instruct me to f#%^ off with myself.

I would go "hee haw, chef". I might even show up in donkey ears. Once you go with a concept, you have to see it through with balls/ovaries of iron.
