I am 58 years old and the tonight show has been on my whole life. Maybe it is time for something different. I haven't personally watched even one episode since Johnny Carson left because that was my comfort zone, so what is more important? The show or the Host.

As you said they did drop because it's getting back to normal. However his ratings are still above Letterman and other competitors, yet I don't see you calling out their demise.

I find it stupid that 16 years of success are ignored by people who can't handle Leno leaving. You don't like Conan watch something else. From the ratings he has plenty of room over Letterman.

Now that would bring in ratings IMO that was the greatest late night show of all time

Boy...this got quiet fast! My guess is that the Leno-lovers have come around to liking Conan.

I bet this starts up again when Leno has his show on, and we get to hear how much better Leno is than Conan in their minds.

Not this gal...been watching Letterman instead just to have something to watch.
Everything I've read about what Conan has put forth in the last two weeks say it's been his usual fare and nothing new and that his ratings have not gone up.

I'd love to see Craig Ferguson take over the tonight show...now that would be something different and well worth watching!

The people who are saying they hate Conan are over 20+ years over his target audience. To say you hate him ,want him to "fail", and he is doing horribly is too harsh since you aren't his audience . Watch something else like nick at night they have those old time shows in black and white.

Sorry, not 20 + years over his target audience. I have no desire for Conan to fail, I wouldn't wish that on anyone. He doesn't appeal to me, so I change the channel.
