If that is the case, then they must not understand how it works. Anna said that she had taken pregnancy tests before and been disappointed that they were negative. They were married for 4 WHOLE months before conceiving.

How sad. I know I know- their life, not mine, but I find it really sad. The two barely knew each other when they got married and now will have only a bit more than a year together to learn about each other as a couple before children add on to the matter. And so much of their interaction is going to just be about the pregnancy.
I agree. And knowing now how much a baby changes your relationship, I really think it would have been nice for them to have time just as a couple first.
I think most people would not risk the safety and privacy of their small children for money and fame, but sometimes money and fame can change people's minds. Kate is a prime example.
last night there was a clip shown before an interview where one of the children asked for water (kate did not know the cameras were rolling). kate asked for water and then proceeded to drink it herself when it was given to her. she then gave the bottle back. the daughter said, "mommy, you are mean". i wish the show would just disappear so those children could have normal lives again. this country seems to be turning into a reward bad behavior country.
i see that there is supposed to be a new reality show where they are looking for someone pregnant with multiples to follow them from the birth process on. when will this end?

For some strange reason I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that she was taking pregnancy tests BEFORE she even got married hoping she would have an immaculate conception.

I can imagine them listening to it and whenever the content got a little too "dirty" them covering their ears as it was not appropriate material for someone to listen to, in their minds. The act of sex is to procreate and not for pleasure. A husband and wife will procreate by having sex but we will be using the term "submit" instead of "sex" in this discussion. The wife will always be submissive unto her husband giving herself to him for such when he wishes. The only time the Bible allows a wife to turn down her husband for such is when she is in prayer or childbirth. However, soon after giving birth a woman is more fertile and if the husband wishes to have another child soon after this is a good time for the wife to submit to her husband. Many hospital rooms are now private or a home birth provides a great experience for the husband to call upon his wife to submit not long after she has given birth. When the husband is wishing for his wife to submit to him she will disrobe in complete darkness and then quickly take to under the covers. There is only 1 position for submission and that is for the wife to be laying on her back in complete submission. There will be no discussion of other worldly positions or the ungodly oral sex.
Seriously, can you imagine a "clean" sex ed tape from THEIR prespective. hahahaha. I'd be willing to bet their "church" never preached/taught from Song of Soloman. It's enough to make your mother blush but it is IN THE BIBLE!

I was married 4 months when I conceived and knowing what I know now, that is not enough time to be "a couple".
Hell, I knew where babies came from and what sex was before I was 13. My area has a ridiculously high teen pregnancy rate and my parents made SURE I knew how pregnancy occurred so I wouldn't do it.
Me and my boyfriend have been together for nearing 6 years, living together for 4 and we spent 3 months decided whether or not to adopt a new dog
I'm just really curious to see which Duggar will be the first to completely rebel..maybe join a rock band, get a few piercings/tattoos and start hooking up with an Atheist
