If it turns out Daniel is Maggie's son and Melanie is her granddaughter, it's fortunate that Nathan Horton is the adopted son of Maggie and Mickey. Otherwise, Melanie would have been sleeping with her cousin. At least it wouldn't have been her first cousin. Good grief. Is everyone in Salem related?

WOW! I forgot about Nathan. How creepy. But now it looks like she might be heading toward Chad; her best friend's boyfriend. Can't she find her own guy?

It's a tight budget. They have to work with the actors they've got. Can't hire new love interests for the single ladies on the show. That means there's going to be a lot of "interaction" amongst them all.

How come Melanie stopped flirting with Brady the second Dario left Salem?
I think I'm getting a crush on E.J. It's not his looks, I think he should do his hair differently, not so short, I just like that hot English accent and his Britishisms, i.e.: the way he pronounces schedule, privacy and other words the British way. me rikey.
I also love the way he does the love scenes. Can't wait til the next one he does with Nicole.
I don't care for the John story because I didn't watch back when he and Marlena were in Salem, so I don't really know his history. Also, I think that actor has some odd facial expressions, can't explain it though.
I'm okay with the story of Sammy's sister and her husband however, even though I'm not familiar with those characters. I think that guy makes a good rival for Rafe.

Nathan's isn't Mickey & Maggie's son. Nathan's mother, Melissa, was thought to have been Mickey's daughter but it turned out he was sterile. So Melissa has no genetic tie to Mickey or Maggie. So Nathan doesn't either.
I can't believe the characters of Abigail & Melanie would wear such inappropriate costumes to a community Halloween bash. A private party or a college campus, yes, but not at Horton Square.
This Daniel/Maggie thing is a bit absurd if you ask me lol.

I agree. I don't see the point of the writers creating this plot. I don't blame Daniel for being upset either. He had a good relationship with his parents and doesn't want to hear that the woman he thought was his mom was not his mom.
Does anyone think the guy stalking Jennifer at the party was not Jack? At first I thought it was but now I wonder. It's a little too obvious.

Thank you for clearing that up. Until two years ago, I hadn't watched the show. In fact, the last time I watched an episode, Caroline had just revealed that Bo was Victor's son and not her husband's. So you can see I've been out of the loop for quite some time. I just wish the writers wouldn't mess with the characters lineage. It's beginning to look like Salem's family tree has one branch. Everyone is related.
if daniel is maggie's son, wouldn't jennifer be his first cousin? so she was sleeping with her first cousin. gives a reason for her to go back to jack instead of choosing daniel. and if mickey was sterile, who fertilized maggie's eggs before they were frozen?
