ditto. I have watched on and off since the early 90s. I catch up by reading Soap Opera Digest when I'm in line at the grocery store.
The writing is terrible, always has been ... yet somehow I keep watching. I'm so disturbed that Bo and Hope are not together. I like Sami and Rafe but I liked her better with Lucas.
It would be nice to see them write about something DIFFERENT...it is the same stories over and over.

I feel the same way! I recently watched an episode, but I was a huge follower in the 90s and I had no idea of what was going on! So many new characters, I just wanted to see Belle and Shaun! Haha.

The show has become like watching a bad train wreck. It's awful but you can't look away.

My wife and I are watching right now. I told her of your reply. She said...
"Yea, sooooo hot and CRAZIER than a **ithouse rat". Out of everyone our favorite character is Maggie. Who's yours?

Hmmmm...good question. Probably Vivian right now, I like the characters you love to hate. Sami used to be fun, but she's just boring now.

I can't stand Hope for some reason, but I still think Bo is a douche for cheating on her. Don't like Carly too much either.

Yeah EJ is a sicko, but still hot! The show is no fun w/out evil characters like Victor, Stefano, Kate and Viv.

I love Victor! He delivers his zingers with such sublety it's hysterical. He cracks me up. I like Stephano too. Viv is a hoot. EJ and Rafe are eye candy. I could watch them without the sound on.

Sami is just a cry-baby these days. I wonder if they are trying to have Mia fill her shoes as the manipulative bad girl. Ain't gonna work. I can't stand Carly, either the character or the actress. I liked Lucas. I think Brian Botello who plays him is much better than the role. He said in Soap Opera Digest that after he leaves the show if they decide to bring the Lucas character back, it won't be him because he is done with it after 15 years.

I liked Ava Vittale. She was a really good nutter. I loved the line where she was indignant that Hope tried to escape after she had kidnapped her. "But I gave you a sandwich!" That just tickled me.

Ah! I guess I watch for these few moments............

I watched Days started from when I was 5yrs old (1970s)... til about the late 90s , or whenever they kidnapped everyone over to that stupid island - trying to make everyone believe they died . lame lame lame !

I recently heard that Grandma Horton passed away in real life ! RIP Frances Reid !

Gotta love an evil hottie......Go EJ. But really, give the baby back and go torture someone else. I think Vivien is in need of a new nemesis. That would be fun to watch.
