A great example of everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It might help though to recognize that none of them, really, are in any league. They're just in a contest for an opportunity to get sponsorship to help them improve and progress. Then the public really gets to vote... with their bucks.
True. With Lee Dewyze and Chris Allen on life support, it shows how badly the public can err. Apparently, none of their voters buy any music.
Greatness is sometimes achieved after many years, and sometimes is readily apparent. People like Jessica and Joshua can do most anything. People like P2 and Keyser cannot. Not opinion, pretty much fact. Hearing Joshua and P2 sing together was a pretty good indication.
LOL I love how Jimmy always puts the judges in their place. Jimmy doesn't let the "moment" get to him and I think gets annoyed at how the judges rush to crown people as the greatest ever on the show and blah blah blah. Jimmy needs to be a judge, or at the very least, get a judge in there who is like him.
Jimmy is really off on thinking that Phillip's Bob Seger song was the best of the night, sorry. I usually agree with him, but I'm not hearing what he hears.

I think you may have to eat your words in the future. It wouldn't surprise me if "the system" chewed up and spat out Jessica and Joshua (not to say that they're untalented, very far from it) but that Mr Phillips will prove to be a major musical force in the years to come. In my opinion the latter are great singers, Phillips is a musician.
Like I said yesterday, I think a P2 & Jessica final is for the best. Not only will it be entertaining, but like stated last night, I don't think Joshua needs this competition anymore. He's very talented and deserves a spot, but at the same token the judges have been so open (kind of absurd at times..) about him and Jimmy making an album together regardless, so why should he in the end have a spot to compete for a record deal he basically already has?
I think a Jessica and P2 final will be quite entertaining.
