I remember "The Movie of the Week" but for the most part I don't remember the titles of the movies just certain scenes. A kid spots a tarantula on the the top of a truck, grabs it and quickly dies. A man goes on the rampage when his dog is killed by a group of teenagers and a man takes his cigarette out burns the eyes of a hamster while telling the heart broken girl "he loves you"....I just wish I knew the titles.
I LOVED movies of the week. Looking back by the production standards of today, they were pretty hokey, but there were some real gems, too.
My favorites were not from ABC, though. "Maybe I'll Come Home in the Spring" (Sally Field, David Carradine), and "Katherine" (Sissy Spacek) were my faves.
I remember my roommate and I being scared so badly by a couple of these that we couldn't go to bed.
