I don't think she has many friends or supporters left. She's pretty out there... I doubt they'll drop the murder charge.

Everyone on trial for murder tries to get the charges chucked. Doesn't mean it'll happen.

I would plead guilty and ask for the death penalty.

I think youre right. There must be more than a couple secrets in this case.

As much as I am pro-death penalty, I don't think she gets it.

I couldn't be a criminal defense attorney, you couldn't pay me enough to defend her, but like you said ..this is what they're paid to do.
Even Susan Smith is up for parole in 2024 on her life sentence, Betty Broderick has been up for parole, but denied, Tom Capano had his death penalty reversed to life in prison. I don't see her getting the death penalty.

Apparently they aren't being paid enough. The attorney is going through foreclosure.

GloryB...kudos for you for taking the high road on this difficult issue. I can't even begin to comment...it's an issue that I'm sure no one would want to have in their life, not the perpetrator or the parents/grandparents. I've lost interest in this case because it's macabre and not a pleasant subject to think about on a daily basis. Prayers for the entire family.

Isn't her trial set for this Oct? or is it next? I was recently in Orlando and wow! All the tv stations still carry DAILY info about her!! It never goes away and with just cause!! So sad for that precious angel. Casey could have given her up for adoption.

Actually I agree..there are many couples not being able to have a child that would have given her a wonderful home.......and all the Moms out there that have given their child up for adoption for what ever reason I applaud you..not an easy choice
