Judge Orders DA To Show Why Secret Indictment Of Parents Should Remain Secret
I wish I understood the grand jury process better... the prosecutors present the evidence and the jurors decide if the case has merit to be prosecuted?? If that's so then there should be a complete coverage of the facts of the case as the prosecutors knew them. The strange part is why did they ask a grand jury to indict then refuse to prosecute?
Our media is controlled by whatever it was fed, and prior Denver Prosecutor Mike Kane was quoted as saying the American public was completely lied to in the facts about this case.
I think the reason they didn't indict at least Patsy was that the prosecution knew between the botched investigation and that the Ramsey lawyers would out gun them they would have looked like fools...
The first time I saw that interview I was distracted by Linda Arndt's eyes, she bugs them out when she talks.
I think she was always hinting that John was responsible and Patsy was just another victim. Did she ever write a book?
There may be more information out soon since the Grand Jury indictment will be released. Hopefully it will clear up some of the things Det. Arndt alluded to but could not say.
That was really disturbing. I can't believe Det Arndt was alone in the Ramsey house with no back up for all those hours. That the Boulder Police Dept could ever justify their negligence in this case is beyond belief. It's not that sleepy a town, especially during the one month winter break at C.U. However, I still think someone else did it, the Ramseys knew the person, and their reason for covering it up is inexplicable.
Wow! There is little doubt that she believes John did it. When she was asked if the killer was still in the house she said without hesitation "Yes." The part about prior sexual contact was really disturbing too, because no outsider would have been breaking in repeatedly to do things like that, it was someone in the house.
The bottom line is, John Ramsey owned that town because of his prominence and money. The police rolled over on the case and that detective was thrown to the wolves as a scapegoat. He also out moneyed the prosecution and a less well healed person would have been questioned more in depth, but his Attorneys shielded him from that.
Very disturbing case, and I agree that the killer will never be brought to justice. What a bizarre situation.
