As for distance to shop? The closest mall is about 5 miles away. The grocery store I frequent is 2 miles away. Sam's Club is about 10 miles away.
most clothing stores have little rooms that you can go into if you need to fart, not sure why they have so many mirrors in there but you can make funny faces while you are in there

Oh, if only I could plan that well...usually they sneak up on me...and BAM. There it is. Sneaking out. Quickly walk over to the next rack.

Besides, if I did it in a changing room, everyone would know it was me! If I do it amidst the racks, no one may know it was me..especially if no one else is around me.

Once in awhile we'll do a day trip up to the outlets in Kittery, Maine, coming from the Hartford area of Connecticut. We usually do lunch and another stop to see something along the way, such as waterfalls or some sort of attraction.

Just be careful what you eat before you shop and go into a change room.

Some high end stores on Rodeo Drive have alarms in the change room that will go off if you outgas into their brand new clothes while you are trying them on which will affect the value of the clothes if they have to rerack them if by chance you decide not to purchase them.

If you set off an alarm by farting, you will be required to purchase what you have brought into that room or have to pay to have them drycleaned.

This is sad but I have traveled 120+ miles to go shopping in Atlanta to the malls down there. Lenox, Phipps, Perimeter, and Mall of Georgia....oh yeah! Great shopping experience everytime and the selections are far better than what is offered up here in SC!

I have never traveled just to go shopping and buy everything I need locally. But I do have a friend who visited NYC from Israel just to go shopping several years ago.

My farts don't really take me very far... but it'll make people travel as far away as possible!

HA... I kiiiiiiiid I kiiiiiiiid.

Farthest I've gone to go shopping?... Probably a little over and hour.... to the King of Prussia Mall down near Philly from where I live here in the Lehigh Valley, according to google maps a 68 Mile drive. Mainly because it's one of the largest malls in the East Coast so it has so much more to offer and you can literally spend a day down there so it's worth taking a trip and making a day of it every now and again.

But now-a-days and especially during holiday time.... no need to travel.... Amazon.com

When I was a kid, my folks would drive to either Denver (420mi R/T) or Grand Junction (300mi R/T) to do Christmas shopping.
