Am I the only person who thinks the previous GEN Camry was better than the current one?

I also hope that Toyota can do something about the decontenting of the interior - the plastics don't look as nice as previous gen models.
You guys are all nuts
My personal experience included driving a 2012 SE as a rental, then a month or two later getting a leftover 2011 LE as a rental. The 2011 totally felt OLD especially on the inside. On the outside, I don't know, they're both pretty bland but I still prefer the lines of the 2012 and newer. Of course, in 2009 I had a week or so long rental with a then mid-cycle model and it served us very well. Just that 3 years on after experiencing the new one, the old one felt so old.....

The '12 also rides better IMO, less floaty. It also feels more solid with less rattles and squeaks.
I'd get an used Avalon instead. Same Camry platform but much better fit and finish inside and out.
