Oh please. Size doesn't mean anything. That's just an excuse for Dallas' lack of interest in using rail as a means of public transit.

Houston's & Minneapolis' are very comparable, even finished out the same year, yet Houston is leaving Minneapolis in the dust.

Oak Farms Dairy sold, to be redeveloped into large mixed-use site - Dallas Business Journal

Quote:
The property -- which is near Interstate 35E and Colorado Boulevard -- is zoned for more than 1,000 housing units and more than 600,000 square feet of commercial space that could be as tall as 20 stories. The investment group say the mixed-use plan could include hotel, office, residential, retail and entertainment uses.

This makes DFW's sixth Cheesecake Factory, or Cheesecake Fattery as I call it. Although a chain, every Cheesecake Factory is a scratch kitchen.

Sundance Square signs The Cheesecake Factory

The 8,700-square restaurant will be located at 215 E. 4th Street at the Fort Worth development and will feature a 900 square-foot patio.

“The Cheesecake Factory is one of the highest volume restaurant concepts in the United States,” Johnny Campbell, president and CEO of Sundance Square, said in a released statement. “This restaurant will bring a lot of foot traffic to that corner of our development. We have 18,000 square feet of prime space at 3rd and Commerce Streets for soft goods retail. We have been talking to several national retailers about the space and we anticipate this announcement will escalate those conversations.”

Big differences. BCB's data is based on actual U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics. Your data is from Gallup doing telephone interviews with John & Jane Doe asking if their company is hiring or laying off.
