I am in the process of taking steps to move to east TN.

I have many reasons. One are gas prices. You are lucky TN locals...
Northern Indiana just hit $3.60 a gallon today .

Ugh! When will it stop?

$3.40 here in CA. My little truck gets 30 MPG, but I have to drive 40 miles EACH WAY to work... so that adds up fast.

$3.05 here in my part of Maine. My mom said its 3.27 there, she is 3 hrs east of me. Am glad that dh has a company vehicle. We are looking at getting a second vehicle as our pickup is a gashog and costs a fortune to use.

$3.01 is the average in Nashville according to a news report (that was two hours ago . . . it's probably $3.10 by now).

Default Gas

Gas was $2.97 9 at Sam's here in Wilmington. However, I have seen it for $3.09 9 at other places.

That's good to know; I'll be in Nashville next week so I will know what to expect. It's about $2.93 in northwest New Jersey.

You can still find it for under $3 at some places here, but not by very much.
