Lisa,

With time and patience, a maple leaf becomes satin. It's a Chinese proverb, and your new home made me think of it. Congratulations of your masterpiece and all the time and patience that went into it.

If I could send you a housewarming gift, it would be a big clawfoot bathtub so you could have a bubblebath and rest!

I love your pug! She scored the best seat in the house...on your lap! Just what my guy would do.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the bear lamp and table! I use bears in the decor of our fifth wheel! Sometimes I wish I used it in our home as well! I'm always looking for bear things. There is a picture I would love to have that would be great in your room with the bears. I'll see if I can find it and link a picture to it.

It seems so redundant - but once again, thanks for the update! It's the only reason I like Mondays!

That's awesome ingenuity Mike and Lisa!

Being a Chicago Bear's fan, I'm partial to bears also. Maybe this weekend I'll take a picture of my little "Tennessee" home away from home, also known as my back porch! We also decorate with bears...

Question " BEAR with US "

L: NIfty pics. I have a Christmas living room full of Bears. Did not decorate last Christmas as we went to Maine for Grand-children. Boxes for of Bear stuff as wife use to work on Halmark gift card shop. Almost full collection of BOYD's bears.
Yes the lamp is great . Suppose you have orders already.?
Big antique boat racer "GAR WOOD" had Teddy Bears as their mascots. One of our members had lots of stuffed animals at the shows & the name of their wood boat was painted "BEAR with US ".
. Does this house have a name yet .?
