Oddly enough, we are not out of the woods, yet. That's why I still smile when it rains.

Sunday, it's going to look like God put the light on to show everyone his artwork! I'll have to work, but I still can't wait. My husband and daughter plan on getting in the boat and going fishing!

Me too! I've been watching the same site, and have cheered each time we moved down a notch, from the burgundy of "Exceptional Drought" to getting close to Abnormally Dry.

And everything is looking so beautiful! I love spring here, and the photos are great! Thanks for sharing, all.

Right at the moment, I wouldn't mind if it stopped raining for a few days. My yard is going to look like a jungle before my "lawn girl" can mow it.

I really shouldn't complain. I guess we still do need the rain here in upper Middle Tennessee. I'd rather have a little extra rain than for it to be like last year.

That's for sure, last I saw couple of weeks ago we were just a tad over the average for the year.
I was very happy that my well didn't go dry last year....

Good info! I always have to remember when I look at an unlableled county map that I'm the west lump on Knox County's shoulder.

A few pics of spring in the Tri-Cities and Chattanooga. There are a couple of weeping cherry trees that I have been eyeing, but we've had rain for days so I haven't ventured out to snap them yet.

The Virginia Bluebells were budding.

Tinman I think the rather large bird near the shore is a great blue heron. We have one that visits us in our driveway every afternoon and we saw them up at my cottage on the St Lawrence River so they do migrate pretty far north. This is regarding Bones pictures,I didn't attach this quote right sorry!
