Great Spring pics. Tennessee has always been one of my favorite places to go.

Default Spring on the Farm, Piney Flats

We snuck out of Ohio and back to the farm in Piney Flats, where God has been busy bringing new life to the land. It was a fruitful week of clearing trees, getting ready to put power lines up to our building spot.

Everything was lush green and blooming - great for the horse pasture! Such a beautiful sight after the browning drought of last summer and fall! I still don't know how to make the photos bigger, so you'll need to click on each photo to see it full-scale.

The pupper is my daughter's dog Moosie (who is looking for a female purebred or near purebred, sweet tempered German Shepherd to share life with...he lost his friend Aspen not long ago to old age. We miss her terribly -

Nothing says spring like the new little calves. They hang out together in a little group, like kindergartners, while the mammas eat. They're our neighbor's but we let them graze our meadows. Much as I love a good steak, man it would be hard to raise these sweet babies and then eat them

Some wildflowers my wife planted last year. The chickens followed her around and dug up most of the seeds and ate them, but she's happy some survived.

Nah, I was using my digital Fuji camera that has a 10x zoom and a 3x additional digital zoom. While it does have an anti-shake feature, I don't think it works all that well. I wish I had my 35mm Canon film camera as it just takes better shots when I have it set up.

Here are a few wild life shots I snagged this week
