Yeah, some people just have to brag. I wish it was me, dog gone it.
Well, I guess I'm happy for you, too.
Where in Florida are you from? And where in TN are you going? If you don't mind me asking.

Not at all. We're in Central FL now and 'visiting' our Blount County home next week.

Default Happy Easter!

Hubby and I just received (Saturday) the new(almost) fancy shmancy, all the bells and whistles Pentax digital camera that uses all the lenses we have for the 35 mm Pentax, that we finally found and ordered. We have not studied up on how all the buttons, gadgets and gizmo's on it works yet but we are learning! Spent the day out at the folks place for Easter and tried the camera out on the beautiful pink Magnolia tree in their front yard. Wanted to share with y''all. I am SOOO excited about this camera and can not wait to have some time to figure it out and take some picture taking trips with it!

These were taken in Rogersville TN 3-23-2008

If you didn't already know, mouse, that's a saucer magnolia (or one of it's relatives). It's also sometimes called a Japanese magnolia.

Nope, didn't know that....don't know why but as it came with the house, just never thought to look it up and all the neighbors refer to it as the "pretty small pink magnolia" we just went with it LOL!. Thanks for that though, I will send the info on the folks.
