Am I right about my view of Tampa and Miami?
1. Tampa is much cleaner than Miami.
2. The roads and buildings in Tampa are generally in better shape.
3. The Miami have better economy (more jobs, more opportunities).
4. Tampa has more cloudy days. Sky in Miami is more often clear.
5. Tampa has higher humidity and fewer breezes than Miami.
6. Tampa has less crime than Miami.

1-This is too broad of a question to answer. Is Tampa "cleaner" than Miami? I guess some parts are...but some parts aren't.

2-Same as #1...this is too broad a question

3-More jobs in Miami, but more people competing for them. This is a question of scale. I'd say that opportunity is roughly equal.

4-I'd say Miami and Tampa have roughly the same amount of cloudy vs sunny days

5-Humidity is the same. Breezes are the same.

6-I would say that this is the one statement that is probably truer of all of yours than the rest.

I just read something saying Miami has one of the Highest unemployment/poverty rates in the country. I can tell you that looking for jobs in both, Miami has moderatly higher paying jobs, but also a substanially higher cost of living.

I definitely believe that Tampa has a better overall economy than Miami and job opportunities.

1. Tampa is much cleaner than Miami. YES, Down town Miami Stinks like NYC. Except it smells even worst considering our weather is generally much hotter for longer periods than NYC.
2. The roads and buildings in Tampa are generally in better shape. Yes and No, there is LOT of prime real estate wasted here and one of my greatest pet peeves is to see small businesses without a store front, but looking dilapidated. That's a larger problem though, not necessarily a "Tampa Only" issue.
3. The Miami have better economy (more jobs, more opportunities). TRUE, Much larger city.
4. Tampa has more cloudy days. Sky in Miami is more often clear. I wouldn't say that, I think Tampa is clearer...
5. Tampa has higher humidity and fewer breezes than Miami. Wrong, Miami has the higher humidity...even the breeze in Miami is HOT.
6. Tampa has less crime than Miami. and that is ONLY because the "city of Tampa" is MUCH smaller square miles and population.

In all, there is really no comparison between these 2 cities because they are both very different from the ppl inhabiting them to the amenities offered. You have to come and see for yourself.

That is because the "city of Miami" is much larger and sadly half of it has turned into crack town.

It is difficult to compare the 2 cities on different attributes. I don't know if I'll say Miami offers better job opportunities or economic prospects. After the housing crash, Miami has been hit pretty badly.

You're right about crime rates being higher in Miami.

One definite point of difference is that most people in Miami speak in Spanish, whereas in Tampa, it is English.
