Nadal has won more slams than Djokovic, and Nadal has never been boring, neither has Federer.
Djokovic relies too much on gymnastics, not enough shot-making.
Whereas Nadal and Federer have the 2 best forehands of all-time, and top notch volleying too.
That's why even when Nadal had that season-ending foot injury last year, he still made Djokovic play a 98 minute 3rd Set just to take the lead.... Nadal's skill is far superior.
But very good for me.
The tour is much better without Djokovic.
He plays the most boring style of tennis I've ever seen.
And that is why the Australian Open this year was more entertaining than usual.
I really like Carlos Alcaraz. The guy kicks butt on the court! He's pretty incredible and he's only 18 years old. I imagine he's going to make it very very far in his tennis career!

I've noticed Alcaraz has trouble with guys who hit the ball flat, and he took 3 hours 40 minutes to beat De Minaur in their Barcelona semi-final, and De Minaur had 2 match points in the 2nd Set.
Zverev and Medvedev also hit the ball very flat, so Alcaraz may never beat them, and both those guys have absolutely destroyed Alcaraz already.
And Nadal doesn't hit the ball flat, but is just too smart and talented, so I don't think Alcaraz will win slams anytime soon.
Actually Nadal's doctor said Nadal already had a broken rib when he played Alcaraz at Indian Wells, and Nadal still won that match.
So Alcaraz is talented, but he may have to wait for some guys to retire.

My dad is 100% in agreement. I don't mind the defensive savant style of play as much, but yeah, spin it to win it.

Well tomorrow, Djokovic and Alcaraz will be battling it out at the semi-finals in Madrid. So should be interesting to watch!

Great match in the end.
I am a Djokovic fan, but well done to the young Spaniard.
Should be a great final for Alcaraz against defending champion, A Zverev..
Well done to Ons Jabeur winning the women’s title:
Funny, I have been looking for that * next to NADAL 2022 Australia Open Men's Champion on all of the official results and I can't find it. Please let me know when you find the * next to Nadal's name.
