Djokovic v. Murray in the final. The rankings hold.

Excellent!

Two months ago, this was a no-brainer who is going to win.

She is a top 4 player in the WORLD. The issue is not with her that you never heard of her. Number 4 and rising!

Does this mean Garbiñe becomes the first Venezuelan woman to win a tournament in tennis history?

So now it stands that Novak has 12 slams, Rafa 14, Federer 17. It seems likely that Novak could catch Fed faster than Rafa will....oh btw, Sampras has 15. Pete might end up being behind all three(Fed obviously already) of them. Who would've thought that 10 yrs ago.

Pete Sampras has 15? The French Open that Pete never won DOES NOT count to his total Grand Slam Title.

You should change your name from JL to JK

Great finals, great tournament overall.

I am so happy for Novak and so glad I got to see him make history today.

A lot of benchmarks set today.
The "Novak Slam" will go down in history as one of the greatest things ever. (an Non-CYGS, holding all 4 Slams at once).
The scary thing is it could become a double Novak Slam at Wimbledon.
Novak gets his 3rd multi-Slam year, and becomes the first man to get the AO-RG double in the one year, since Jim Courier in 1992.
