Yeah, he's gotta get past Richard Gasquet first, the mercurial Frenchman with the eyecatching one handed backhand, who will have home crowd support.
The schedule will be fairly condensed today, since yesterday was rained out.

Day 10: Tuesday, 31 May Schedule of Play at Roland Garros 2016

The Women's draw looks wide open as well.

I'd say Ferrer, but it all depends on what mood Berdych is in.

Wow, that's very disrespectful toward Nishikori.

Nishikori still has more than enough time and will probably win 1 though, that is why I left him out.
And he is still a fair way behind them in career accomplishments right now , regardless of that (11 career titles and no Masters title) - and has only become a top 4-8 player the last couple of years. (the others are seasoned top 8 players).
The other 3, unless they can have a late career surge like Stan Wawrinka, have left their run too late and unlikely to win a Slam imo.

It looks like we have the usual suspect at the Semi, plus Thiem.

Nadal said that Thiem is the future number 1 player few months ago. Maybe Nadal is right.

My prediction is right on. Thiem is crashing the Semi-Finals at a grand slam with only multi-grand slam winners.

And the kid, while extremely talented, clearly has some growing to do.

Djokovic v. Murray in the final. The rankings hold.

Excellent!

1 vs 2, we couldn't ask for a better final.
Novak also going for the "Novak Slam" - on Non Calendar Year Grand Slam (holding all 4 at once), which has not been done since Laver won the CYGS in 1969. (has been done in the womens' but not the mens)

In the Womens tonight, 1 vs 4:

Serena Williams vs Garbine Muguruza.

Here's hoping Garbine can get overcome the powerhouse Serena, and get her 1st Slam.
Serena is still going for her 22nd Slam to equal Steffi Graf's open era record.

Don't know what happened to Wawrinka today, but I am glad because Murray may be better "choice" for Djokovic right now. Looking forward to Sunday (IF rain stays out of the way).
