LOVE this! This year, my daughter wanted to donate some of her gifts to less fortunate kids. Unfortunately, the thought came about a little late, but we are looking at ways to pitch in and help in our new community!

Not too late. There are organizations (children's homes, homeless shelters, WAVI, etc.) that need donations year-round. Everyone gives at the holidays but no one's thinking about it in March.
Rave: Got to visit some friends I hadn't seen in a while today.
Rant: Discovered that 10-year car batteries only last about 5 years in South Dakota. I guess the winters are hard on them. Sigh.
Rave: While I was getting the car serviced, I actually remembered to have new wiper blades put on so I can see through the windshield.
Rant: Brand new wiper blade flew off on the interstate during the drive home, never to be seen again. Nice job, guys. Next time I'll do it myself.
