Hmmmm....isn't that the point of the game? To get the ball in the goal?

It plain and simply is. However many people love to throw in soft, fallacious concepts like deserved or undeserved. You know what, I see that people only care about nice play when winning or losing doesn't make sense, ie when their country isn't playing. Whoever scores the most, in how much ever time it takes deserves the win/

A team needs to play to its strengths, if they aren't full of players that are superstars you do what you need to do to win the game.

Belgium defense and defensive midfield was terrible though.

Don't blame Iceland, they were one of the only teams to look alive the last round, constantly pounded Joe Hart and the British backline, on a different day that could've easily been a 4-1, maybe even 5-1 game

It wasn't a high class penalty shoot out, but I don't care, die Mannschaft won. Go Germany.

Now wouldn't it be hilarious if Iceland beat France. Go Vikings.

I tend to like Germany but I hoped that Italia would pull this one out being the underdog and performing much better than expected and it helps the psyche of my first generation Italian-American friends.

Germany is just too good even when they're not playing well. Just too stacked.

I cannot wait for Iceland v France tomorrow.

Zaza's penalty made it worth watching the game until the end.
