Players birth or ancestry wouldnt have anything to do with being called the Brazil of Europe. Anthing that goes along the lines of "just like watching Brazil" is to do with style, something which I never ever heard or said about Portugal.

I remember hearing it from french tv casters back at Euro 1996 as they were quoting Chris Waddle if I'm not mistaken. Needless to say that it was metaphorical, nowadays playing like Brazil would mean losing games.

I can still recall Portugal-England in 2000, probably one of the greatest games ever.

Congrats Portugal! It's been a long-time coming for you guys to finally WIN a major international football trophy! Thumbs up to Cristiano Ronaldo for being a good teammate and captain by NOT letting his injury in the final against France ruin his spirits, which was evident by him refusing to leave the sidelines after being sidelined to play the role of number one cheerleader and assistant coach to help the rest of his team out so they can WIN!

They won't miss next world cup, their group is not that strong.

1.England

2.Slovakia/Scotland
3.Scotland/Slovakia

4.Slovenia

5.Lithuania

6.Malta

I hold on and hope Scotland take number 1 place in England's group.

Then Israel or Belgium punishment England in Xtra Qualify.
