I know several single people with diabetes and as long as you do your insulin and keep both eyes on your diet you'd be just fine alone.

By choice, I've lived alone for many years. My son married for the first time when he was 40. It lasted about 2 weeks. Then he did it again. Now, he lives alone and says it will stay that way. Both his wives thought he would be a great fixer-upper. What a laugh! It would have been a delight had one been able to whip him into shape. I would have admired her ability.

tho it can be stressful like during times of illness(Im receiving cancer treatment and working full time and believe me with the brutal winters here I wish I had someone to help out) I find living alone to be very functional and the ability to come and go is priceless

Ive always had a lot of interpersonal problems and living with another just won't cut it.

It's really nothing to do with men or women--at least in my opinion. Not a gender issue, per se. Nothing wrong with men or women, in general. It's simply a matter of understanding and taking the 13th Amendment to the Constitution a bit more seriously.

For 4 mos now, I'm living alone for the 1st time in my life, but I'm not in my 20s anymore. I'm an only child, so I've had a pretty solitary life anyway, so I'm used to the solitude. I really LOVE the freedom of living alone! I'm so glad I'm getting this chance rather than going from living with parent to getting married & living with a spouse. www.wilson-roofing.com Vancouver Roofer, Vancouver Roofing,

I live in a nice apt with my little dog. It's not the biggest place, but the apt/complex is very nice & quiet. I couldn't have picked a better apt to live. Vancouver Roofing Contractor, Vancouver Roofing Service, Vancouver Roofers, Vancouver Roofing contractors, Vancouver Roofing Services
I have a couple of pals/aquaintances, none I'd call close friends, but I don't get lonely. I have enough to keep me busy.

How about you?
I lived with my wife for 4 years now...

I'm starting to regret that decision.

Love, love, love living alone! Unfortunately (I guess), I'm currently not. I've been caregivers for my parents for the last four years. That is a taxing enough job, even when you like living with others. It is just my mother and myself now. She is an extrovert and talks nonstop. When she runs out of things to say, she starts repeating herself. I am an introvert and enjoy my peace, quiet, and "me time"...as well as my two cuddly kitties.
