Well, we probably missed each other as as I graduated from Hale in '77. But a small world nonetheless. Ravenna was a classic Seattle elementry school with many quality instructors. This whole section of Seattle was quite an intellectual area (not to boast too much here), but it included many employed by the UW, and that has to count for something, right?

Have you seen Ravenna since it was changed into condos? Almost all of the schools I attended are no longer schools.

Have not been inside, but certainly have seen it since the conversion. Progress, (I guess)...and Nathan Hale has a brand new makeover too. (Funny, it still seemed newish when I went there!)

I haven't been inn Ravenna since it was converted either, but I did take pictures of the outside a few years ago... actually, I think that was about 10 years ago. I did see that Hale is being renovated.. there are several Hale groups on Facebook. I'm not sure I could find my way around in that school anymore, but I still remember where my lockers were... both in Hale and at Addams...

You're not really a native then since you were technically born in DC...

I was born near Sunnyside WA in the Yakima Valley. Moved to Seattle to attend the University of WA and stayed because that's where I found my first job after graduating.
