We go over to the Palm Springs area all the time but steer clear of all the places you mentioned. We frequently stay at the Agua Caliente Casino/Resort in Rancho Mirage. We were just there last week for 3 nights.

Ok, I gotta ask ..... who did you see? I see the billboards for who's playing where on a daily basis, but I never remember who's playing at which casino. I know Brian Setzer Orchestra is playing December 30, but I forgot if he's at Agua, Fantasy, or Spotlight.

P.S. I forgot to add Coachella to my list!!!

We didn't see anybody this time. We went for my wifes Birthday and did a lot of playing.

We have seen Brian Setzer a couple of times at Pala Casino and another one. He puts on a great show.

He's one of my faves! ALL of his music is danceable. I might go to the concert, but I am studying for mid-terms. I'm still debating on whether or not I can take the time out to see the show, or whether I should keep my nose in the books!

Dude I grew up in DHS and all these swindlers are going off of what someone else says. If you are a normal person and arent involved in gangs and or drugs its no problem. There are beautiful houses and nice areas in desert hot springs. It is definitly starting to come up and the schools could use some work but all this takes time. The other cities nearby are overated and just talk trash on dhs. Most of the crime is done to other people who do crime. murders most the time are gang related. check out the rest of the valley, places like laquinta have had high risk burgluries and home invasions. The police Department is doing a good job at stepping up on crime. They are catching people commiting crime all the time. Your gonna have crime everywhere you go even in the nicest cities. crime just stands out more in this little city because it is smaller population wise. and if it is as bad as they say then people would be moving there all the time. I joined the navy and traveled but Desert Hot Springs will always be home, and Im from San Diego.
